Connection Request Management

At i-DE, you can manage the electricity connection requests for both consumption and production through our Private Area from the “Connection Request Management” section. This tool allows you to register access and connection requests to the grid and track them. Keep reading to discover everything you need to know and start registering easily on our platform.

What is Connection Request Management?

Connection request management refers to the set of procedures necessary to connect an electrical supply to the distribution network. The types of available procedures and their main uses are:

Register a supply point. Connect a new electrical installation to the distribution network, whether for homes, commercial premises, or industrial installations. This includes the technical validation of the project and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Make changes to a supply point. Modify the characteristics of an existing installation, such as increasing the contracted power, changing the holder, or making technical adaptations to the connection.
Request access to the grid as a producer: Process the access and connection to the electrical grid to inject the produced energy, whether for self-consumption or large-scale production.
Request access to the grid as a producer or retailer. Allow retail companies to manage their customers' connection to the distribution network.

The i-DE Private Area is an agile and secure platform to manage your connection requests. Its main functionalities include:

The management of your connection requests is done exclusively by accessing the i-DE Private Area.

If you are an i-DE customer or are authorized to manage contracts for a third party, in addition to managing your requests, you will have access to more functionalities, such as:

Carry out various procedures and check their status.
Download multi-contract data.

How do I register in the i-DE Area?
